We were pleased to present the Los Angeles African American Vanguard Awards. This event was created by Lord, Bush and Randolph to recognize African American’s who have made a positive impact on the City of LosAngeles and surrounding communities. LBR partners with the Los Angeles Chapter OF the National Action Network (NAN-LA), to honor the achievements of these esteemed individuals.

With the help of some esteemed panelists comprised of leading African Americans in contemporary academics, artists, civic organizations and leaders 100 of the top African American men and women who lead by example and share a commitment to excellence, dedication, and acts of service to Los Angeles and surrounding communities were selected. These individuals ignite change in their communities and exhibit outstanding leadership and service. Each has left an indelible mark on the lives of the people and is worthy of recognition.

It is an honor to be able to highlight the accomplishments and great work of our African American leaders. We are looking forward to who will emerge as the 100 most prominent and influential on the next list
